Andrew Patashnik is a freelance lighting designer, programmer, and technician based in New York, NY. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Design and Technology from Syracuse University. He has worked summers in training with PRG Secaucus, The MUNY in St. Louis, the Weston Theater Company, and the Summer Theater of New Canaan. In Syracuse, he worked year-round in collaboration with Syracuse Stage. He was a 2023 participant in ETC’s Fred Foster Mentorship Program.

He was born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut where he worked with several theatre groups, including but not limited to: the Stamford All-School Musical, Curtain Call Inc, and the Strawberry Hill Players of Stamford High School. He started young as a performer and has since explored nearly every other role within the art that he possibly could. He is also a playwright, a musician, and loves a good game night with good friends!
